Review: Bourjois “Effect 3D Max” Lipgloss:

For Christmas, I received this lip gloss as a gift. First of all, I found the packaging was very exciting, and I love the gradient effect. I also thought the name was very intriguing.

My first impression of this lip gloss was that it smelt very sweet and rose – like.I also thought the heart-shaped applicator was an easy way to apply the lip gloss, and the lip gloss itself, was fairly pigmented.

The shade I received was shade 61 – Rose acidule. I think this shade is an easy wear color, it is very much like a sunset, peachy-pink shade, it includes a little shimmer and sparkle as well. I think it would work well on many skin shades, especially pale skin.

All in all, I think this lip gloss is an average lip gloss.On the front of the packaging, it says “Maximized 3D shine”.I would not say my lips appear very 3D looking, but it does apply shine to your lips.I think the consistency of the lip gloss is quite sticky, but soft.I believe the color pay-off is quite good though.

Review: Simple “Kind to skin refreshing facial wash gel”

I do not really suffer with many spots, but now and again I do, therefore everyday I have to use a facial wash, then I have to tone my skin, followed by moisturizing.Earlier this year, I thought I should be trying a different facial gel, as my old one was not making any difference to my skin.My mum came home one day with this Simple facial gel. I had heard of the brand, and had been impressed by their other products brought ( Simple “Kind to skin soothing facial toner” ).

After a few months, I really started to notice a difference in my skin. I am an oily-combination skin, and my skin looked more brighter, and I had less spots :D. A couple months on from that I am still using this facial scrub, and I believe it really does work!

The gel guarantees it “actively restores, softens and smoothes” it also says it will  “not upset your skin”, which I most definitely agree with!After I wash with this gel and tone, there is no makeup residue left, therefore proving that it takes all my excess makeup off my face!I recommend this product to teenagers or people with spot prone skin,or those with an oily or oily-combination skin type.

All my family love Simple products!

In the UK this product can be found in big supermarket stores ( Tesco, etc…) Boots and Superdrug, even Amazon!It retails between £1.99 and £3.99.

I rate this gel 4.5 out of 5, the consistency is a little sticky, but is not that bad.
