Themaskofbeauty: Girly false nails!

Image

Hello everyone,

Today I really felt like putting on some false nails, and going for a really girly, barbie-esce look.

Image

I popped out to town yesterday, and I brought some false nails from Boots. These are the Broadway, real life nails, in short length.Despite the “short” length, I actually had to file them down to my liking, but I know you can purchase “Real short” nail lengths to.These retail for £4.40.Image

A couple days before, I purchased the Barry M, Gelly Hi-Shine in 332,Grapefruit. I love this wild, bright, girly pink colour, and I thought it was fantastic for the false nails. This was £3.99.

As a top/ glittery coat, I was given this as a gift from last year. It is a Sephora glittery nail paint. It looked fantastic as a top coat, but it does not have a name 😦

This is my finished look!

I hope you enjoyed this, and keep requesting, commenting, liking and following!

Themaskofbeauty: Review Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 107

Image

Hello everyone! I was shopping a couple days ago, and I thought I would take a risk, and buy a deep red lipstick! I was inspired to purchase this off Zoe on Youtube (Zoella) and I am loving it so far!

Image

I thought I would challenge myself, and be more interesting, by buying a red lipstick.Aside the gorgeous color it is, I do believe that this is more suitable for the colder seasons, so that is when I am most excited to use it!It is extremely pigmented, which is fantastic, and therefore means, that it glides on the lip very smoothly!

Image

We also need a minute to talk about the smell…. It smells delicious! It is difficult to explain the scent, sort of fruity and tropical I guess, so thumbs up! I also thought the packaging was lovely! The color choice is really nice, and stands out. Also, I love Kate Moss’s signature on each lipstick, it adds a great, unique touch, and I find it just simply cool how my name is Katie, so it sort of looks like its made for me, hahaha!

Image

The lasting power of this lipstick is good to, it lasts for around just over half the day, but I recommend using a lip liner underneath, for longer lasting power.

All in all, I thoroughly recommend these lipsticks,  their formula is beautiful! If you would like a “How to wear” red lipsticks, let me know, I would be more than happy to do a blog post on it!

You can purchase this at Boots and Superdrug for the original price of £5.49!

Bargin!

Thankyou for reading!

Holiday Purchase’s: #1 Kiko Creamy Lipgloss 104

Image

I have never owned a “lip crayon” or a “chubby stick” as I like to call them. But I do not really know why……

This is my first purchase in the “Holiday Purchases” series. It is similar to the Clinique “chubby sticks” in its formality, and appearance.

Image

I was inspired to pick one of these up, from two Youtubers, Zoe (Zoella) and Tanya (pixi2woo), when they mentioned in their videos, that the Bourgious, colour boost “lip crayons” were inexpensive and really good. I really love the colour “Peach on the beach” by Bourgious, so I had to buy one of my own.

Image

I chose the brand “Kiko” to buy from. I find that “Kiko” is really inexpensive, with brilliant products, worth the value. The shop Kiko was a re-discovery from last year, as I found this shop in Spain last year.I found that the formula is really soft and creamy, the product “glides” on the lips.

The “lipgloss” as such, is more of a heavily tinted lipbalm, which is easily buildable, and this shade is perfect for summer, and would work great with any skin tone, especially very fair skin tones.

Image

The product also moisturises, while giving a shine to the lips. Also, I do believe that there is one Kiko shop in the UK, but which, I have never visited, so no guarantee! I really believe that Kiko is great value for money, and I highly recommend the brand. If your passing a Kiko, make sure to go in and have a look around!

I think this was purchased between 7 and 8 euros, and was one of my favourites from my holiday purchase’s.

May I just add, that this product is super pigmented, and is a 5/5 for me!

Thanks for reading,

Tell me what Kiko products you recommend!?
